Ultimate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Talent Sourcer in San Jose

About the Role

We are seeking a Talent Sourcer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at using modern sourcing tools, platforms, and databases to build strong talent pipelines. This role will primarily support R&D and Engineering teams, with opportunities to support additional functions as needed.

What You'll Do

Source Candidates

  • Identify and attract qualified candidates through online databases, job boards, social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn), professional networks, and employee referrals.

Use Advanced Sourcing Techniques

  • Apply complex search strategies, including Boolean search and data mining, to uncover passive talent for hard-to-fill positions.

Build Talent Pipelines

  • Proactively develop and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.

Engage With Candidates

  • Conduct personalized outreach to generate interest in open positions and strengthen the employer brand.

Conduct Initial Screening

  • Complete preliminary assessments to evaluate candidate skills, qualifications, and overall fit for specific roles.

Collaborate With Recruiters & Hiring Managers

  • Partner to define candidate profiles, understand hiring needs, and develop effective sourcing strategies.

Manage ATS Records

  • Use the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to accurately record and maintain candidate data.

Provide Scheduling Support (As Needed)

  • Work with People Operations to coordinate interview scheduling and support a seamless candidate experience.

Skills You'll Need

  • 3+ years of proven talent sourcing experience, preferably in technical industries
  • Expertise with modern sourcing tools and techniques (Boolean search, social media, networking platforms)
  • Knowledge of ATS platforms and HR databases
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities with a data-driven approach
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Onsite Requirement

This position requires working onsite 4-5 days per week. In-person engagement is essential for fostering authentic relationships, teamwork, trust, and collaboration within R&D and operational environments.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $40-$45 per hour
  • Final compensation will be based on experience and educational background.
